Corporate Legal Purpose
The corporation is formed and hereafter shall be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the “Code”) to provide familial assistance and support for members of the Organized Militia and National Guard as described by General Statutes of Connecticut, Section 27-2, et seq. for the Connecticut Military Department created by Connecticut General Statutes (Conn. Gen. Stat. Title 27, Chapter 504, Part I), all within the meaning of Section 509(a)(3) of the Code. The Corporation shall be permitted to perform every act necessary or incidental to or connected with the furtherance of its exempt purposes.
